About Me – Helena at NetWebbing.com
Hi there! Helena here and thanks for dropping by to check out my site: NetWebbing.com which is driven to make learning IT online as easy as possible.
NetWebbing.com was originally born to collate and make simple the overwhelming IT and Web information and tutorials found on-line (and in books).
I wanted to have a repository of simple step-by-step articles which even I, after a passage of time and the murkiness of memory, could follow along to accomplish needed web and IT tasks. We all know how easy it is to forget steps, especially complicated steps that we might have to do only once in a while.
Hence NetWebbing was as much for me as for the next person who was fed up with trawling through endless technical jargon and tutorials.
NetWebbing goal: Learn IT Online made easy
If you are an early visitor to this particular rendition of NetWebbing, then you may be surprised at the scarcity of information. That is because I am in the process of moving data from my old platforms to this self-hosted WordPress site – beginning as at the end of July 2013.
Sidenote: Older archived information from NetWebbing currently can be found at: https://sites.google.com/site/netwebbing03/
What’s New?
As NetWebbing starts a new life on WordPress, I have also made NetWebbing a case-study site. In my Blog Monetization Journey – I am putting in the bucks and the hard work in evaluating whether the advice from internet gurus can actually help us make money online. So I will put in the hard yakker and you follow along and reap the results at no risk!
A Little More About Me
I am just an ordinary person who spends an inordinate amount of time on the internet. I could blame Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest for this condition, but that would not be really true. (Though I do spend too much time there!!)
I actually spend a lot of time creating jewelry and crafts and I run an online ecommerce store on the side. I love writing and in the process of these activities, I end up spending huge chunks of time doing detailed research on articles, people, products, affiliate programs and sometimes, even the kitchen sink!
I hold a Bachelors in Econometrics (statistical economics), a Masters in Information Systems, and a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistics Programming (NLP). I tell you that more to explain why I have such an obsession with doing such lengthy research on topics and products and why I have such a penchant in knowing what actually works, how much it costs, is it worth it, or are they scam? (Yes, a skeptic cynic lurks in my heart too.)
If you want to know more about me, then you will have to follow me around!
